The Greatest Mistake In Sugar Addiction
My biggest mistake with sugar was actually a sequence of a number of mistakes. Are you making them, too?
First was my Mindset Mistake: I resisted the concept of having to give up sugar. Yes, I knew I used to be hooked on it but was sure I wouldn’t must quit.
Second was my Attitude Mistake: I began on the lookout for loopholes. Imagine me, no one ever regarded more durable for a sugar loophole than I did, so I can say with confidence there isn’t one. However I didn’t believe that again then!
Third was my Habits Mistake, which in fact was a direct outgrowth of the primary two: I used Sneaky Sugars. A brand new and standard item at that time was “all fruit” jelly – as if that wouldn’t have an addictive effect on me. I would buy and eat it by the jarful. One other was a fake ice-cream-sort dessert that had me at “hi there” – hooked on the first spoonful.
Many trending sugars are available now, exhibiting how sneaky the meals business could be, along with some previous trustworthy entries: agave, coconut sugar, maple syrup, honey – and Natural Sugar. ‘Trigger that does not have an effect on the mind; it’s organic… !
If I might start all over, I might be extra Zen about sugar: No attachments. No aversions.
I might accept that my dependancy meant needing to give up sugar – and give it up a lot sooner.
I’ve by no means regretted quitting sugar but do regret the time I wasted – and the frustrations I brought about myself – by not facing my dependancy to it for real, as soon as and for all. No one knew this stuff back then.
